Millbrook Beds announces sleep partnership with parkrun UK
Millbrook Beds is delighted to announce a three year ‘sleep’ partnership with parkrun UK, aligning the organisations in the promotion of the importance of a great night’s sleep to health and wellbeing.
Parkrun organise free, weekly, timed, 5k events held on a Saturday morning. More than 500 events take place every weekend with over 130,000 people walking, jogging, running or volunteering.
Every Millbrook mattress is individually and lovingly handmade in England using only the finest natural fabrics and fillings. Individually hand-nested pocket springs move independently of each other, eliminating roll-together, relieving pressure points all over the body. This enables ultimate spine and body support and allows the muscles to truly relax for a perfect night’s sleep.
Millbrook Beds means to highlight the impact sleep quality has on every aspect of a person’s daily life. To this aim, the Company has launched a national sleep study which collates sleep and lifestyle data of people of all ages. Millbrook Beds hopes to engage with parkrunners all over the UK to give sleep insights and share with them the joy and benefits of a great night’s sleep.
Mark Croll, Managing Director of Millbrook Beds comments; “We are delighted to partner with parkrun UK, as our two companies both have a desire to see everyone living healthier lives. We know great quality sleep is important to good health and well-being and a great quality mattress is the key ingredient to that. A great night’s sleep makes you ready to get up and do something amazing on a Saturday morning like a parkrunin the fresh air!”
Parkrun Chief Executive Nick Pearson adds: “We are dedicated to creating a healthier and happier planet, which means promoting healthy lifestyle choices that extend beyond a Saturday morning. We believe that good sleep is a critical and often overlooked element of good health and that is why we are delighted to partner with Millbrook Beds who are a leader in their industry, dedicated to demonstrating the importance of sleep.”
