Millbrook Beds was delighted to win the Small Bed Manufacturer of the Year award which was announced at the National Bed Federation (NBF) Bed Show in September 2018.
The Company had impressed the judges with its “investment in service and marketing in a difficult market with a new team in place and an impressive set of high-profile partnerships helping align its identity with a healthy, active lifestyle.” Millbrook Beds was one of seven industry champions scooping awards at the gala evening during the show last week.
Winning the award was the icing on the cake for Millbrook Beds who enjoyed a most successful Bed Show with an order book totalling just short of a 350% increase compared to last year’s show.
The unveiling of three new updates to the range, and 20 new divan colours together with new competitive price points were well received by the visiting buyers who committed to orders across the collection.
Ross Thurston, Operations Director commented; ‘The new Perfect 2 is the best range of mattresses we have ever made and is the result of a year’s worth of significant R&D. We have rethought our fillings across the range and how they complement each other. The end result is a more sumptuous and luxurious feel.”
During the show the Millbrook Beds Agent of the Year was awarded to Adam Oldham. Adam is one of the newest additions to the sales team, and looks after retailers in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East of England.
Sales Director Mark Hughes commented; “The award recognized Adam for his professionalism, sales growth and contribution to Millbrook Beds in supporting independent retailers to grow their business, whilst cementing strong working partnerships.”
A sales support package is available for the independent retailer with a fresh new ‘What Perfect Sleep Means’ marketing campaign, which will roll out from October to drive interest and demand for the brand.
