The arrival of July hails the start of National Picnic Month in the UK, a month to relish* the best of picnic opportunities both indoors and out. (*pun intended)
And, yes, indoor picnics are a thing – they have to be with our Great British Summers. In the same way as we’ve come to embrace indoor camp outs, we can bring all fun of casual dining and the unctuous-ness of special picnic food indoors.
At Millbrook Beds it won’t surprise you to know that our favourite type of indoor picnic is breakfast in bed – and not just in July. We’re not thinking a lazy plate of toast in bed, like any great picnic, the sense of occasion directly relates to the thought and planning that’s gone into it.
