This month at Millbrook Beds we’re excited to announce that we’ve joined The Furniture Makers’ Company, the City of London livery company and charity to the furnishing industry, as a corporate member.
Corporate membership provides opportunities for businesses to support the Company’s charitable activities, get involved with civic events and network with other members.
Ross Thurston, Operations Director at Millbrook Beds, will be admitted as the company’s prime corporate liveryman during a formal ceremony at Furniture Makers’ Hall, London later this year.
Ross Thurston said: “I am looking forward to both Millbrook Beds and myself becoming members of The Furniture Makers’ Company. The Furniture Makers’ have always and continue to make such an important contribution to our industry and we are excited to become part of this fantastic organisation.”
David Woodward, Master of The Furniture Makers’ Company, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Millbrook Beds as a corporate member and look forward to admitting Ross as a corporate liveryman at a formal ceremony at Furniture Makers’ Hall.
“Our corporate members are of the greatest importance to us. We are delighted that so many different companies from the wider furnishing industry understand the importance of joining as members and supporting our charitable endeavours. All members, individual or corporate, are invited to participate in the many events in the city livery calendar, which are great for networking, entertaining, as well as having fun.”
